Materie

Surface as primary subject. Skin, cracks and folds appear as dense structures. The image is no longer about the whole body — but about a field of material.

Ridges and fissures carry the information. The origin of the texture becomes secondary. Light exposes edges. Shadow fills the spaces in between.
